Accelerating the Gospel
ICM
3 billion people live without a church and may never know Jesus Christ. That is why Pastor Bishop* set out to reach more than just his community with the gospel.
Several years ago, Pastor Bishop was working with a Dutch-based organization to provide Christian childcare to needy families. It was during this time that his heart began to break for tribal people across his community in Asia. He felt called to reach them with the gospel. His ministry began in a small village in 2006, with only five field workers. However, God blessed his hard work dedication. The pastor wrote,
“We started from a humble beginning, but the ministry expanded to two more states over the next few years. Sunday worship services were conducted on the verandas of thatched houses belonging to new believers and evangelists. There was not enough space in such houses, and it prevented some of the tribal villagers from attending services. It became even more difficult during monsoon and rainy seasons.
God, in His sovereign plan, connected us to ICM in 2016. The first three churches were dedicated to the glory of our Lord in April 2017. Since then, God has continued to bless our partnership. Presently, we work in 12 states across Asia. We have so far built and dedicated 23 churches, with 16 more under construction. God has also blessed our small beginning to achieve the following: 157 workers, 320 Sunday worship services, 415 new outreach villages, and 800 to 1,100 baptisms each year.”
We give glory and honor to God for His faithfulness in leading us thus far. We look to Him for the future as we labor together.”
Please continue to pray for Pastor Bishop and the growth of the gospel. None of this would be possible without your faithful support!
