Church built by ICM in Vietnam |
ICM's mission is "to nurture believers and assist in church growth worldwide". We seek to fulfill this mission through partnerships, using Mini Bible College materials and a church building program with church growth principles. The emphasis of our church building is in rural areas where there are no churches. The term church growth was selected to convey the importance of growing the Church in every way: numbers of people within each church, number of churches within a nation, the faith of each believer, and principles taught to the leaders.
Once built, these churches become pillars of hope in the most unexpected places. Many gather to learn of God, worship Him, and enjoy fellowship with other believers. Sometimes the church provides a setting for elementary education (we call this “church based education”), vocational training or as a medical clinic. All of this is important to the nurturing of the community as the church building becomes the hub of life for a community.

Church Growth Partnerships have specific principles, policies and processes, all which are to expand and bring excellence to the Kingdom. For example, expectations include each congregation’s contributing to a Covenant Fund, for the building of other churches in that country; they also include the planting of 5 daughter congregations over a 3-year period following dedication. Thus, as partnership expectations are carried out, a nation can be blanketed, while “people, communities and nations are transformed through Jesus Christ and His Church.”
